COLUMBARIUM

The St. Francis Springs Columbarium and Memorial Garden, which was completed on November 5th, 2023, includes 4 arches with 720 total niches, all located on a one-acre tract within the grounds of the prayer center.

COSTS

Niche

Each niche can hold the cremains of one or two people. The exterior plaque of each niche is inscribed with the name of the deceased, along with the date of birth and date of death. A single niche is $2,000 and a double niche is $2,500.

Urn

Due to the design and size of each niche, our columbarium requires that you use our custom-sized urns. The cost of the urn is $300.

At this time, our vendor charges a service fee for purchasing the urn, engraving the plaque, and shipping. Please note that the cost of the urn is subject to change due to price increases from the vendor. We will coordinate this procedure with the vendor for you. You do not need to pay for the urn until the time of need.

Memorial Plaque

If your loved one is buried somewhere else, you can honor them with a columbarium memorial plaque for $800. 

Benches

Plans include the addition of up to 18 benches in the columbarium area.  Benches can be purchased for $2,000 each and include the opportunity to memorialize a loved one with a bench plaque.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A Columbarium is a monument composed of “niches” designed for the perpetual resting place of the cremated remains (“cremains”) of loved ones, in lieu of a grave-site burial.

  • Due to size limitations, the inscription of the niche plaque will be limited to name, date of birth, and date of death of the deceased whose cremains are inurned in the niche. The size, type, and manner of lettering for the inscription shall be of uniform character, as determined by St. Francis Springs Columbarium and Memorial Garden, Inc.

  • Both St. Francis Springs Prayer Center, Inc. and St. Francis Springs Columbarium and Memorial Garden, Inc. are interfaith. In the spirit of the mission, Catholic, Protestant, and all other faith traditions are honored. Please let us know how we can help honor and respect your faith tradition.

Niche Location

 When you purchase a niche, you can pick its location within the columbarium.  Arch 1 and 4 are closest to the parking lot, while Arch 2 and 3 are near the cross.  You are welcome to call or email to discuss available locations.  Once you’ve communicated your choice, you’ll be mailed a certificate with the niche name, number, and location for your records.
